Your recipe looks great! I also recently had my first bacon party – baconalia! – and have a second (fine, and third) mostly planned. Quite probably the best party I’ve ever had. Glad yours was a hit as well. (The difference being due to different food sensitivities – I had a dairy-allergic guest – we had recipes with different exclusions. It was nice how easy it was to work around dietary restrictions though.)
