My dad passed away almost 3 years ago and it's still difficult at times. In fact, I just went through another layer of grieving - it seems to come up at the strangest times. I know that the best thing I did for myself was to keep on going, no matter how painful it was. Your rhubarb reminds me of family - my grandma used to cut it when we went camping on my dad's farm and then would go home and make a pie or a cobbler. Thanks for sharing.
