If you have to eat gluten-free in Arizona – check out Picazzo’s. Delicious – let me say that again – delicious gluten-free pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a nutritionist, I rarely had or even wanted pizza, until I found I had to eat gluten-free.

I first had Picazzos in Scottsdale, AZ – for the first time in 5 years – I ate at a restaurant and could look at a FULL menu and say to myself, “What do I WANT to eat?” – Not what can I eat from this limited menu – or even worse – what can I eat if we leave out this, substitute that, send it back to the kitchen 2 times until they get it right.

Picazzos has several restaurants throughout Arizona & now one in Portland, OR. Needless to say – I’m a huge fan!!!!

I don’t think that is the actual gluten free pizza in the photo but only because there’s pepperoni on it. That said, it’s not far off. The gf pizza actually looked and tasted like REAL PIZZA! It was delicious and chewy and delicious. The staff was great too. I can’t wait to go back. It’s definitely the best gf pizza I’ve had.

I’d be interested to hear your aficionado’s opinion of the crust at Pie By The Pound (just below Union Square). I went there last week for the first time and was very impressed with the crust there.
