Food Crush – Gluten-Free Grahams

Gluten Free Cookies and Gluten Free Granola

I recently received a sample of products from Made to Crave, a small company based in Arizona that specializes in gluten-free granolas and other snacks made with gluten-free oats.  While I was excited about the granolas, I didn’t realize that the owner was also including gluten-free animal crackers.  They totally caught me off guard – they were soooooo good they are my latest food crush.  They are crispy and sweet – that perfect crunch you expect from a little cookie.  They are full of graham flavor and totally crush-worth; I would never guess they are gluten-free.

The granolas are delicious in their own right. The maple pecan flavor is a little bit sweeter and the apple cinnamon is a little bit tart (in a good way) – they both taste outstanding.  The owner, Pam has graciously agreed to offer a sampler pack of the gluten-free granolas and the gluten-free animal grahams to a reader of A Gluten-Free Guide.

To enter the contest, just leave a comment with suggestions for flavors of granolas and granola bars you would like to see Made to Crave make next.  To be eligible you must comment by 8pm on Sunday August 16, 2009.

Oh, man! I’ve been craving grahams so bad and haven’t made a “just like grahams” gluten-free version yet! I’d love to see a maple sweetened granola bar or granola or chocolate and berries granola bar. Mmm….

I would love a granola bar option with peanut butter. Or a peanut butter/chocolate combo. Everything here looks so delicious and I can’t wait to try it!

Honey almond granola is my favorite!
For bars, something lemony….lemon pecan?
The current flavors all look so good. I’m getting hungry!!

Oh, for the bars… how about chocolate chip or chocolate chocolate chip, or peanut butter and chocolate chips…you get the idea. For granola, raisins and nut combos of any kind…anything to lure a recently-celiac-diagnosed eight year old into eating!

I would love to try any of their products, they all sound good!

My suggestion is for mixed berry granola. Let me know if they decide to make it.

Thanks!

I totally miss Health Valley Peanut Butter. It would rock if they would make a peanut butter one… no chocolate, just the peanuts!

I love granola! I would love to see a cinnamon raisin or blueberry granola. For the bars – peanut butter is always good. Thanks for letting me know about this awesome new cereal and for the giveaway!

These look fabulous. I would love peanut butter/choc. chip granola bars or macadamia/choc. chip granola bars. For straight granola how about one with a few different kinds of nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans) plus some raisins. Basic, but something I really miss :)

Maple Cinnamon granola would be A-MAZING! Oh! what about a Cinnamon Alomond Butter flavor! There are a ton of peanut butter flavored things, but not almond butter!

I think cherry almond granola would be good (with dried cherries and sliced almonds). As for the granola bars, maybe chopped hazelnuts or hazelnut butter and chocolate chips, a Nutella flavored bar. I just want those animal crackers :)

Just a classic oats and honey granola bar would be great – and for granola, I like a tropical flavor with coconut, dried bananas, etc.

For the bars I would suggest granola with lime, coconut, and dates. For the granola mix, I would add dried mango slivers and chocolate pieces. White and normal would both be awesome!

Fruit flavored granola’s. . .would that be too much? Like bits of mango in a granola! Bannana chips in a granola bar?
