Thanks to Allergic Girl for the heads up – Opus Restaurant on the Upper East Side of Manhattan finally has gluten-free bread and pizza to round out the rest of their gluten-free Italian menu.
That’s good to hear Dan thanks for the update – I need to get there soon!
Our family had dinner there this past weekend. The food is good. It is nice to be able to dine out. The wine list is very nice.
We called in advance to make sure they had GF spaghetti, they confirmed on the phone that they did. When we got there they only had ziti. Not a deal breaker but something to consider if anyone is planning to bring kids. Spaghetti is kind of….special (obviously, adults can modulate this kind of disappointment much more easily). The tab adds up, so it would have been nice to get what we went there for.
But overall it is good, especially for grown ups.
Great blog, thanks for keepin it real!!!
My freinds and I had dinner herelast night and we were under whelmed to say the least. The wine was over priced and unimpressive, my pasta dish was so al dente it might as well have been raw. The wait staff couldn’t have been more uniterested in providing good memorable service. You’d think in today’s economy, people in the restaurant industry would be trying very hard to be courteous and provide excellent service. I was not impressed, definitely not going back.
Is there a restaurant or bakery you want me to check-out? A product you want me to review? Any other questions or feedback?
